Tune of I’M NOT THAT GIRL (Idina Menzel version)
- [Idina reacts:}
Great week, great start
Got a great show, a great part
They scream like I’m Hugh or Al
They shout out “Adele”
Heck, I'll be that gal
Presto, big name
Is it lame what brings great fame
It all seems so darn extreme
Still “Adele Dazeem”
I'll be that gal
When you’re selling tickets you long to be
Someone they really think they know
But what makes 'em pick what they go to see?
What gets people to the B.O.?
Strange meme, strange tweets
Thanks to twitter! Tweets buy seats
Piles of cash that we now corral
As more folks hit send
Watch our new hit trend
I’ll be that gal
John spoke, John slipped
Sudden stardom, they all flipped
Now he’s my new bestest pal
They cry out “Adele”
Since it helps us sell
I’ll be that gal

They miss the old slavery,
And other things quite unsavory,
So let the poor be damned,
Slammed, jammed and crammed,
'Cause the GOP just have no bravery.

Larry,
Dick Cheney retired you know?
It was about 5 years ago.
Obama's now in charge.
And just like LBJ sends out the drowns each day.
If the "Company" runs the same,
Obama's the one to blame.
His people are in charge.
His name is there writ large.
This is just another thing,
That's gone downhill again.
Since Obama has been in charge,
That number has been large!

It's take, take, take by those "takers",
They can't stand the wealth of the "makers"
Koch word fabricators
Are such worker haters,
And for workers' families, heartbreakers!

Research and wisdom be damned
The Oligarch leaders have rammed
Balderdash and pure bosh
To be swallowed by gosh
By folk who by meltdowns are jammed.

Her salad of kale,
Tells quite a tale,
A reptilian head,
In a dark green bed.
I'll have Romaine with an ale.

Call liberal.
Walk away.
Well done.

Industrial agriculture?
The breeding ground of the vulture,
Ethics? For fools,
Profit overrules,
It seems we're just a selfie culture

The Greatest Mistake this country could make is to abandon
the Electoral College. We already have the East Coast
and West Coast elites intolerant rule. If the Middle States
felt that they lost all possibility of being listened to and
having a share of power the Union would collapse on itself.
What might help is:
Eastern Washington, Easter Oregon and Southern Idaho
were allowed to become one State.
Western Montana and Northern Idaho become one State.
California becomes at least three states.
Texas three states.
Florida two states.
New York two states.
Have the electoral vote of the winner of each
Congressional District go to that candidate and the State's two
Senatorial Electoral votes go to the candidate who got the
most popular votes in the state. That will eliminate
the power of the radical right and left and let Moderates
run the county as they ought to.

A mugger out for some fun
Might find his career done.
Imagine the surprise
In the criminal's eyes
When the victim pulls out a gun.

Fully free if a job isn't there?
Fully free when the Earth withers bare?
I won't criticize Blow
But as world events go
There's not that much time left to spare!

In the World of Thoughts, Mine may be Small,
But I Think enough....to Consider it All.
Sometimes Fiction is more Fun than Reality,
But in order to Function...we Need some Fealty.
When our Structure is Open to manipulation by Spies,
Our Condition is Crumbled by Suspicions and Lies.

An empty stomach and full soul
Would please Paul Ryan on the whole,
It's now out of fashion
To offer compassion,
Allusion to souls are so droll!

agora,
What of the Homeless - why does this nation not care
enough about them to give them the most basic rights
of shelter and food.
What about those in Prisons - yes they committed crimes
but must they live in hell-holes.
When will Progressive Liberals contort the Federal Courts
to do true Justice instead of desired and misnamed Justice ?

Not so Feinstein, it's time to go
The pasture beckons, your days are few
California dreaming and no more scheming
We need a new day, a new way
no more business as usual
Too many problems, too few leaders
And when you go
take the CIA
