Depend on a liberal like Larry
To offer solutions Hail Mary.
Don't have enough?
Why, just use less "stuff";
And all the world will be merry.

Instead, let's try the way Amurkin
And explode a problem with bodkin:
When faced with a test,
Stop being a pest,
Invent something to better trap carbon.

... and declare consumption again "game on".

A racist team name? What a shame!
In the Nation's most beloved game?
Compared to concussions
These ethnic discussions
Are only important in name!

Ethiopian Jews return,
In this can anyone discern
Apartheid? Ah yes,
It's called BDS,
It's an anti-Semitic turn!!

Would Michael Strain raise the Min Wage?
The idea might Michael enrage,
Confidence without cash?
That would be rather brash,
The Brooks' comments are far from sage.

Larry,

The climate changes a lot.
It goes from cold to hot.
California's been dry or not!
This week it rained a lot.

The end is always nye
Rocks do fall from the sky
300 years ago they had weather too you know!
We still have weather today and tomorrow come what may.

It's a good excuse for making rules.
Because no one knows what's cool
But if the Lib's have their way
We'll all walk to work each day!

You can't beat the Repubs at twisting
The facts when their boat is now listing,
Their most promising Pol
Is in a deep hole,
A traffic display of two fisting.

Yes Mike,
No tithes
No church
No magic book
No embarrassing confessions
No guilt
No fear
NO GOD

The confusion over when Carly Rae Jepsen is playing had to be a factor. There was no reason to go see the show without Carly, so it was probably great for the six performances and really quiet sales-wise at the other two.

“Carly, Maybe?” - Tune of Call Me Maybe

I liked the show pretty well,
The songs are great, truth to tell,
But now I’m saying oh, hell
There at the big Broadway

It was an interesting plot,
I laughed and clapped quite a lot
But then I realized it’s not
Her first night on Broadway

Show was getting going,
Clapping started growing
Started my uh-oh-ing
I had no way of knowing, baby

Hey, show’s terrific – but something’s crazy
We hear a number – not Carly, maybe?
It’s hard to think right – it’s so hazy
But what we came for – was Carly, maybe!

I’m so confused now, so call me crazy
That’s why the numbers - have fallen, maybe
When crowds get used to - the days she plays, we
Will give strong numbers, we’ll call in, baby!

The gal we’re watching, no she isn’t so bad, not so bad
She’s not so, so bad
The story’s touching, but the plan that we had,
Plan that we had (had, had, had)
Was to see Carly, so call me crazy

As many commentators have indicted, the article title targets the wrong gender.
As the confirmed bachelor and single father Erich Kästner wrote:
Vater werden ist nicht schwer
Vater sein dagegen sehr.
Roughly
It's easy to become a father;
To be one though is much much harder.
Kästner didn’t last long at it.
Sorry, it rhymes much better in the original (unless you're from NY).

"Why is it that they can only see 'lazy workers' but not greedy corporations?"

Hmmm, could it be that corporations have more money than workers to give to politicians?

By the way, people are greedy not corporations.

When i was an Anthropology major at the U. of Penn. in the
early '50's; when we studied evolution, we were off-handedly
told that God worked through evolution (at least it was touched
on to satisfy the deists in the class. What disturbs me is how
our politics has embraced religion and made idiots out of
our population which has become anti-science and totally
ignorant. We will never advance as a country if we continue
to foster a denial of basic biology. Believe in your many
gods,, but let us continue to make scientific growth.
